The Kingsville Fire Department’s Suppression Division provides many different services to the citizens of the Town of Kingsville. They are as follows:

  • Advanced structural firefighting including rescue
  • Vehicle firefighting
  • Rass, brush, field and forestry firefighting
  • Marine firefighting
  • Automatic aid to other fire departments in Essex County
  • Mutual aid to other fire departments in Essex County
  • Advanced medical assist with defibrillation
  • Operations level hazardous materials
  • Vehicle accidents
  • Vehicle extrication
  • Transportation incidents involving vehicles, aircraft and watercraft
  • Water and ice rescue - water entry
  • Water and ice rescue - boat
  • Public assistance
  • Ambulance assistance
  • Police assistance
  • Public utilities assistance
  • Community emergency planning
  • High angle rescue (Operations Level)
  • Confined space rescue (Awareness Level)
  • Farm / silo rescue
  • Role as Assistant to the Fire Marshal re: suppression

The firefighters that make up the Suppression Division at the Kingsville Fire Department are highly trained and dedicated individuals. Many take advantage of specialized courses at the Ontario Fire College and several are Associate Instructors for the college.
